Small Belt Pouch by Avanger Small Belt Pouch by Avanger
A small belt pouch I made as a birthday present for my mother.

It's made of 3,5mm thick leather for the body and the belt loop and 2mm thick leather on the sides.

Dyeing the thick leather was fun but the dye stuck to my fingers for weeks because one of my gloves had a little hole. ^^

Really goog work! I was wondering; where do you found the decorated metallic nail/rivet? (don't really know the english name, sorry)
I'm searching for ages for this king of things....

Thanks :-)
I think they are called decorative rivets in english. I often see them at medieval fairs and markets.
You can also get them from online shops but often you have to order at least a certain amount. I like to order such things from ~Lederkram-de's shop. They have a lot of beautyful rivets (and other nice and usefull things) but their stock is allways changing and you have to order goods for at least 25€.

Thanks a lot! Their shop is really beautiful. I think it won't be hard to find for 25€! ^^
I don't speak german infortunately, but I'll have a look, and try to order.
In France, I don't find this kind of thing at all. Even at medieval fairs. :/ So you really help me. ^^
